We visit our raw material vendors on a frequent basis to keep in touch when new or special pieces become available.

An example of this is this chunk of Yellow Birch that we purchased some time ago.  It was the shape that first captured our imagination, but it was the beautiful grain patterns, live edge, curl and flare the piece displayed that made it amazing, needless to say, it came to the shop with us.

The unique shape of the piece dictated to us what it wanted to become, we envisioned a foyer table / shelf to put your keys, cell phone & change on when entering your home.  The challenge was how to interpret that concept into a functional beautiful piece.  We feel like we succeeded and are thrilled to share it with you and make it available for purchase.
